Krispy Kreme Japan Easter donuts

Krispy Kreme always seems to release much cuter donuts in Japan than it does in the US. I suppose of most things in Japan though...

Rice Krispie treat ice cream cones for Valentine's Day

So this is another one of those rules of cute. Food that looks like other cute food is automatically cuter than cute food that just looks like itself. Which is why ice cream cone Rice Krispie treats are extra cute! I'm curious, though, how the Rice Krispies ended up so pink. The blog that featured these didn't mention in the post. Ample amounts of food dye in with the marshmallows? That would seem to make sense.

I'm honestly not sure if these would taste good as Rice Krispie treats + ice cream cones seem a bit too similar in texture to work well together. I'm still tempted to try making them.

These are from Bakerella (natch) and are supposed to be inspired by the Coraline film. (The book is better. Nobody captures an aura of fear like Neil Gaiman.)

Hello, I complete forgot today was St. Patrick's Day and didn't wear a lick of green. Oh, well, at least I didn't get pinched. Here's a collection of St. Patrick's Day cuteness to make you feel festive.

Moonstruck Country Critter animal tuffles

Chocolate truffles shaped like cute barnyard animals! I'm a big sample sale site girl although aside from  the Hello Kitty and Disney stuff that shows up from time to time they aren't exactly treasure chests of cuteness. However Rue-La-La has an Easter basket selection full of treats that I want to eat but shouldn't (GI issues. Chooclate = pain) and this was one of them.

I'm not sure if the chocolate is any good. However considering they're almost too cute to eat I'm not sure how much that matters.

Spring Chick Cupcakes

I've had these little guys sitting around waiting to be posted for a while. Since it's nearing spring and Easter I thought now would be a good time. These are inverted cupcakes decorated with coconut and since the recipe is from Martha Stewart these are probably as tasty as they are taking. (Hmm...I think I might be pushing the alliteration a little far there.)

This is absolutely amazing. That's a watermelon that has been carved with Hello Kitty's likeness. Please go check out this blog. It features carvings and fruit displays that are even more amazing than this. And she even has instructions on how to make some of them!

Bread Bears!

As I believe I've mentioned before cute bread is my favorite type of cute food. And this cute bread takes the cake...err...I mean the bread...(the bread takes the cake?)...anyway...as its still very much soup weather where I live some of these guys topping steaming mugs of soup sounds wonderful!

Mickey Mouse Bread

Giant loaf of mickey bread! For some reason I love cute bread more than any other type of cute food. And aside from the mouth this doesn't look like it would be too hard to replicate! This is from the Boudin Bakery in Disney's California Adventure theme park.
